As part of the planning consent process we have to carry out a serial of environmental surveys in Planning Phase, Construction Phase and Operational Phase. A serial of environmental surveys include the noise, underwater acoustic, marine ecological, marine mammal, bird and Marine topography since 2012.
Our project has captured the details of the ecological conditions and the requirements before development. We have provided the appropriate mitigation while built up the onshore substation, 22 wind turbines in the Miaoli Zhunan’s offshore area and onshore/offshore cable routes.
To avoid the environment impaction due to construction development, a comprehensive methodologies have been adopted on and around the site. Where underwater noise has been generated by the wind farm’s construction. Formosa I has used the latest state-of the-art noise reduction techniques and has conducted noise measurements to ensure that the noise reduction measures are effective.
